History of Mexico Museum, SUMMER 2011, Mexico City Internship ▪ Focused on the study of the Mexican “La Reforma” time period’s decorative objects. ▪ Served as a docent leading visitors on guided tours of the exhibit. ▪ Member of a team of three archaeologists, five art experts and thirteen students that designed, produced, and installed a successful exhibit about the Mexican “La Reforma” period. Exhibit entitled: Amanecer de una nación: de Nueva España a México, 1765-1836, Origin and development of the Mexican Independence war and first years of the new nation through 500 pieces. Assisted in the preparation of the exhibition including preparing paperwork related to exhibited objects and preparing the catalogue. The exhibit was visited by more than 500,000 people in the one year it was presented.
